Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom

The documentary “Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom” is a great film showing how the students of Ukraine fought back through a peaceful civil rights movement and protest that became a violent revolution. The protest and revolution was against the corrupted Ukrainian President Viktor F. Yanukovych. This revolution was violent and ended after 93 days with 125 people killed and President Yanukovych fleeing to Russia. This film demonstrates the injustice of a corrupted government and how when people unite it can bring about change.
